Who am I?
I am an empty nester from a blended family of five wonderful children and devoted husband. I love to play sports, hang out with friends or take amazing adventures around the world. Let me share exciting adventures with you!
I am dedicated and excited to open my own private practice helping others discover their Joyspring like I did.
My Joyspring John 4:4
In grade 8, when I was severely humiliated in front of my figure skating club for putting my coach down, I decided to ask Jesus to heal my heart.
Jesus put a well of water springing up from inside of me; my Joyspring, that not only gave me strength to face this club again, but set me free of my childhood pride.
I grew up singing and dancing in our farm fields, wanting to share this love growing within me.
My desert place and transformation
When God calls us to fulfill our purpose, we are often brought into a time of testing, a desert place.
My own desert place began when I struggled with uncontrollable anger after being severely rejected. I knew it was wrong and that I had to forgive, but how could I do that when my heart was so traumatized?
Like many of my homeless clients, I was lead into a long process of learning how to let go and forgive. I am thankful that today, I am enjoying freedom and lasting healing in this once broken relationship.
My passion has always been to be a part of transforming lives from desert places to Joysprings.
My calling to transform the world
During 32 years of individual, couple, and group therapy, I am continually intrigued to not only learn from your experiences, but explore together avenues to true inner healing.
I am embarking on a new season of my life as a retiree from Woodstock Hospital. My goal is to live life to the fullest, while continuing to enjoy my on-line counselling passion part time.
