Trauma Therapy
Compassionately helping you find freedom and long lasting healing from traumatic experiences.
Whether you're facing nightmares, resurfacing memories of abuse, or your emotions are out of control, as a Trauma Therapist, I am here to empower you through your healing journey towards feeling loved.
You may have arrived here because…….
Are you a survivor of childhood or adult abuse?
Have you experienced neglect and emotional, physical, or sexual abuse?
Have you experienced a serious accident, or life-threatening illness?
Do you suffer from trauma symptoms that are out of control?
Are you hyper sensitive to fear, because you do not feel safe?
Are you unable to trust anyone, as your trust has been broken so many times and your left unsupported and alone?
Do you feel like fighting, running, freezing, submitting or attaching whenever the trauma is triggered?
However you arrived here, I am so glad you are here. Come to a safe space where you are understood and gently lead to complete recovery. Read on to see how my Trauma Informed Psychotherapy can help.
You may be apprehensive about telling anyone, but your secret is safe here.
Your newly discovered memories are now causing you havoc in your day to day life.
Sleep is interrupted by the nightmares that you want to stay awake all the time.
An impenetrable anger, anxiety or depression arises, making your loved ones turn away from you instead of helping you.
Your life feels like it is unravelling out of control.
You want to rebuild that trust and intimacy back again.
How you can rebuild safety and stabilization.
I will be compassionately taking you on a healing journey to overcome dysregulation. First you will learn how to balance your emotions, live in the present, feel protected, and find rest. You will safely remember the trauma, rather than continue to re-live it.
Then only when you feel ready, we can come to terms with the traumatic memories. We can work through the responses, protective measures, barriers to letting go and beliefs that keeps the trauma alive within you.
I will support healing for you when it is a foreign concept, until you are ready to experience the transformation from shame and alienation to freedom. I will also often invited your loved one into our session, so you both understand how to move on from trauma and most importantly feel truly loved and supported.
